As an Events and Programming Intern, I had the opportunity to assist in executing The Gala 2024, Singapore Fashion Council’s prestigious annual fundraising event. This high-profile gathering brought together industry leaders, designers, and key stakeholders to celebrate and support the growth of Singapore’s fashion ecosystem. My role involved coordinating event logistics, managing vendor communications, and ensuring that all on-site operations ran smoothly. I also assisted in guest management, helping to create a seamless experience for attendees. Through this experience, I gained valuable insights into large-scale event planning, high-end hospitality, and the intricacies of curating a luxury fashion event.

Be The Change Summit 2024

I contributed to the success of Be The Change Summit 2024, a thought-leadership conference focused on sustainability and innovation in the fashion industry. My responsibilities included liaising with external vendors, managing event programming, and overseeing logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of activities. I worked closely with various stakeholders to facilitate engaging discussions and interactive sessions that highlighted key industry challenges and solutions. This experience deepened my understanding of sustainable fashion and the importance of thought leadership in driving industry transformation. It also strengthened my ability to handle dynamic event environments, adapt to last-minute changes, and contribute to an impactful attendee experience.
Annual Play X Freshie Event 2021: WhoKilled52?
Position: Event Assistant-In-Charge
Following the theme of a murder mystery, WhoKilled52? was a virtual event that took the freshmen participants along the journey of finding out the actual murderer of the star basketball athlete of Stage High School, Kevin Lee, among the 4 suspects listed. The event consisted of 2 parts: an Investigation where the participants viewed videos showing the suspects' individual motives to kill Kevin, and an Interrogation where the participants got to interrogate the suspects themselves via the Telegram platform. The event rallied a total of 40 participants.
Annual Scarefest 2020: Jln Pentas 52
Position: Phodeo (Photography-Videography) Member
Surrounding the concept of the real-life and creepy "elevator game", Jln Pentas 52 was a virtual event that took participants through a Virtual Reality experience with the use of Virtual Reality (VR) Glasses. The participants watched through a series of 4 videos, each with a different location and containing a unique number, from the POV of Joey, a teenager who entered a parallel universe after completing the elevator game. By the end of the event, participants had to form a 4 digit code using the 4 numbers gathered from the videos to complete the game. The event rallied a total of 50 participants.
